Cora Lee Perdue

MAVISDALE, Va. Mrs. Cora Lee Perdue, age 90, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2004, at her residence following a lengthy illness.

Born in West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Viola Hamilton Lambert. She was a member of the Keen Mountain Free Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Charles Filmore Perdue, three sisters, five brothers, a granddaughter and a great-grandson.

She is survived by two sons, Donald Gene Perdue and wife Irma of Manassas, Va., and Roger Lee Perdue and wife Betty of Alexandria, Va.; three daughters, Mrs. Eileen Fleming and husband Maynard of Manassas, Mrs. Charlotte Rowe and husband James of Manassas and Mrs. Peggy Charles and husband Willy of Oakwood, Va.; one brother, Arthur Lambert of Beckley, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; her church family and a host of friends also survive.
